Shoreline Hotel Waikiki

We loved our stay at the Shoreline. I did not get the sweet gal’s name who checked us in but thank you for greeting us with your warm smile.. You made our check in fast and smooth.. we appreciate the daily cleaning service.. we were out all day for my girls tournament, so it was nice coming back to a clean room everyday.. Parking fee was a bit pricey but better than everywhere else in Waikiki.. location is super convenient! Close to everything you need.. rooms are a bit dated but I would still come back because of the great customer service here. We didn’t get to use the pool because we preferred walking a few minutes to enjoy the beach instead.. thank you Shoreline Hotel. We will definitely be back.

This property is in a good location and is very walkable. I travel for a living and spend a lot of time in hotels at least 3-4 nights out of the week. This is a nice one and good value. I extended my stay and rebooked through the hotel directly for a better price. I even received a room upgrade free of charge. The restaurant can be considered pricey however the food was good. Staff were kind helpful and friendly. I stayed 5 days 4 nights. I’ll definitely book here again. I’ll update with actual photos of my room. This was my first time in Hawaii and I will most definitely be returning. I genuinely have nothing but high praise for this hotel.

I am a planner, it takes me forever to decide on a place to stay. Once I stumbled upon the Shoreline, I knew I had found a gem and I was so right. We stayed at nicer places on this vacation but nothing compared to how easy everything was at shoreline. We found ourselves wanting to go back to Shoreline! The location is amazing, near all the yummy restaurants, shops, and the beach is a 3 minute walk away. The staff was all super helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic (reminds you of a spring break hotel room but for adults lol) but have everything you need. They had beach towels, chairs, and floaters and that was the most convenient part I think! The valet was quick and easy. We would stay again here in a heartbeat. I would only suggest a plastic shower curtain because water really got everywhere in the bathroom but that was simply a shower liner issue! Otherwise 10/10. Shout out to Christie- she was the best staff member- so helpful and happy.

Spent Christmas 2025 till New Year's eve at this hotel, meeting my sister and BIL from New Zealand. I love this hotel, simple, within reach of everything; restaurants, Ross store just across the street for extra suitcases. I did have to get extra suitcase and my sister bought 3 suitcase,plus 2 carryon suitcase. There is restaurant right next door, connected to hotel, and you get $5 coupon daily to spend there. It was so handy. The staff are super friendly and the other guests very so nice and friendly. It was like a meeting of fiends and families. The cost is reasonable for Hawaii. If you are expecting one of those fancy hotels,then this is not it, but you will love it.

Excellent location near shops, Beach, restaurants, public transit and stops. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating! Loved the colors inside the hotel. Bright, fun and energetic. Puts you in a good mood. If you do not like noise do not get rooms next to the elevator. We were fine with this and the staff informed us which we were grateful for. The rooms are basic and accommodated us well. If you are looking for fancy then try somewhere else.

We loved our stay! We requested an upper-level room and they honoured our request. Shoreline has great energy - I love the bold colours. Service was excellent, from valet Damien to hotel staff. The room was impeccably clean and the central AC was appreciated. We got great pictures in the hallways - each floor is painted a different, bright colour. Great little boutique hotel that's priced reasonably! We're very happy with our choice to stay here.

Stayed here for the weekend - 2 nights. The kids loved the colorful look of the hotel lobby and throughout the rest of the floor. We were in a 2double bed room, didnt have a view but it was okay since we don't usually sit out in a the balcony, it did have a smal one though for those who'd like to sit out. We were here on a rainy and windy weekend but again, it was okay since we were near pretty much everything we needed. Loved the cleanliness of the lobby and room. This is one of the top things I look at when we travel. The front desk staff and valet guys were kind, courteous and totally felt the Aloha spirit. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. Although the rooms were a bit tight, especially the bathroom (didnt have a counter/area to place your accessories), the overall feel was clean. Across the hotel were food places and shopping such as a huge Ross across the street. Walk a few feet and Dukes Lane Market, Starbucks, Nordstrom Rack, and the famous International Marketplace. Can't go wrong with this hotel compared to other hotels nearby. Photos on their site are pretty recent and depicts the current look of the hotel unlike some hotels that show old photos of when the hotel was first opened then later we get shocked with the actual look when you get there - not with this one. Overall experience was great! Thank you, Shoreline Waikiki, for a nice family stay.

You can't beat the location!! Close proximity to cafes, restaurants, shops and the beach As this is a small boutique hotel, the elevators had next to no wait time which is great when you're in and out of your room frequently throughout the day Loved the filtered water in the lobby too. My constructive feedback would be to improve the functionality of the bathroom and install more bathroom shelves! There is such little storage i had to store all my toiletries outside of the bathroom! This tweak would make all the difference to the overall experience when showering and getting ready. Would also be great to be able to stream in the room when desired, as the tv channels are quite limited.
